Dear Florence Families:

Welcome to our web page!  We are so excited that you have taken the time to visit our site.  We will be updating our web page frequently so please take a look throughout the school year.  I have often said that we are the luckiest educators in the nation because we work with such wonderful students!

I am delighted to be the principal at Florence.  I have been with the Omaha Public Schools for 29 years and have spent the last 17 years serving as a principal. At Florence, it is our desire to have a strong academic focus and ensure that your child is learning to the best of their ability.  Working together as a team we CAN make this happen!

Florence is comprised of approximately 250 students in grade K- 5 with a staff of 45.  We are very proud to have our community partnership with Boys and Girls Club. If you haven’t had a chance to check out the club, stop by. It is a true honor to have this partnership with the Boys and Girls Club.
